Often with commercial buildings when undertaking a building consent, accessibility reporting is a requirement of the consent process. In order to show compliance with Section 112 of the New Zealand Building Code, the consenting authority need to be convinced that the level of provisions for less able-bodies persons have been improved as near as reasonably practicable. Plumb Ltd have undertaken many such reports.

We have managed a large range of projects on behalf of clients, taking their project from concept design through to the issue of a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC). How we can assist with your construction project are as follows:

Once your project is complete it is important to ensure that all the close out certification is obtained. For example your builder could have 100% finished your alteration, but you still may not have applied for a Code of Compliance Certificate. So from the territorial authority and insurance perspective your project may not be complete. We can assist to ensure that all the required approvals are made in a timely manner.
